1:1 In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
# بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ 1
30:1 AlifLaamMeem.
# الـم 1
$ 1233 The miraculous news that the Persians will face defeat after victory 30:2-7
30:2 The Romans have been defeated (by the Persians)
# غُلِبَتِ الرُّومُ 2
30:3 in a land close by. But, in a few years after their defeat they shall become the victors.
# فِي أَدْنَى الأَرْضِ وَهُم مِّنْ بَعْدِ غَلَبِهِمْ سَيَغْلِبُونَ 3
30:4 To Allah belongs the Command before and after, and on that Day the believers will rejoice
# فِي بِضْعِ سِنِينَ لله الأَمْرُ مِن قَبْلُ وَمِنْ بَعْدُ وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ المُؤْمِنُونَ 4
30:5 in the victory of Allah. Allah gives victory to whosoever He will, and He is the Mighty, the Merciful.
# بِنَصْرِ اللَّهِ يَنصُرُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَهُوَ العَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ 5
30:6 The promise of Allah! Allah does not fail His promise, yet most people do not know.
# وَعْدَ اللَّهِ لاَ يُخْلِفُ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ 6
30:7 They know an outward part of this life, but of the Everlasting Life they are inattentive.
# يَعْلَمُونَ ظَاهِرًا مِّنَ الحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَهُمْ عَنِ الآخِرَةِ هُمْ غَافِلُونَ 7
